If you've ever walked into Mulberry Market Co. and immediately felt at ease—like the shop just got you—there’s a good chance Sadie had something to do with that.
Sadie is our store manager, cheerleader, candle-recommender, and community-connector all in one. She’s the friendly face you’ll often see straightening shelves before the day begins, greeting regulars like old friends, and making sure every detail of the shop reflects the care and heart behind the scenes.
Her journey to Mulberry started in the most relatable way: her mom saw a Facebook post. While Sadie wasn’t sure the timing would work, she came in for an interview anyway—and walked out with a job offer the same day. What started as a maybe has grown into a role filled with purpose, connection, and a lot of coffee.

A “typical day” for Sadie isn’t exactly typical—it’s filled with everything from helping customers and managing the team to tagging new arrivals, organizing purchase orders, and making sure everything feels just right. Her to-do list is long, but her favorite moments are often the simplest ones: catching up with a regular, recommending a favorite local item, or watching someone fall in love with the shop for the first time.
Ask Sadie what she loves most about working in a boutique, and she won’t hesitate—the people. She's a natural connector, and you can feel it when you're talking to her. She’s the type of person who remembers your favorite scent or asks how your last workshop went. She’s built relationships that go far beyond the cash register, and it shows.

When it comes to her favorite shop picks? She’s always reaching for the Bungalow Candle Studio car fresheners (and their refills, of course!). But she’s also a sucker for the little things people often overlook—like the incredible coffee sold in-store (yes, it's that good). And if you’re new here? She’ll point you straight to our workshops and locally made goods, which she believes are the heart of what we do.
For Sadie, the most meaningful moment in her Mulberry journey came when Hannah—our fearless founder—asked her to step into the store manager role. “She recognized the work and heart I put into Mulberry,” Sadie says, “and that was exactly what I needed.” Their partnership is built on trust, shared vision, and a deep love for this community—and it shines through in everything they do.
What makes Mulberry Market Co. special? Sadie says it’s not just the products. It’s the people. The artists, the customers, the workshop guests—it’s a place where everyone shows up for one another. A space built by and for the community.
And when you walk through the doors? Sadie hopes you feel it.
That hug-you-from-the-inside feeling.
That “they know me here” feeling.
That little burst of joy that reminds you why shopping small matters.
Because at the end of the day, Sadie doesn’t just manage a shop—she helps create a space where people feel seen, welcome, and at home.
And we’re so lucky to have her.
