Where Agriculture Meets Artisanal Roasting
LaShaw Ranch Roasters isn’t your typical coffee company. Nestled on a working farm and ranch, Amanda and Jeff LaShaw are producing some of the finest small-batch coffee in the region — right from their own land. But their story didn’t start with coffee. It started with farming.
Back in 2014, Jeff and Amanda purchased their first farm, Jeff LaShaw Farms, turning a lifelong passion for agriculture into a thriving business. A year later, they opened The Golden Gem Mercantile, a unique space where locals could pick up animal feed, sip fresh coffee, and shop handcrafted goods from fellow small makers.
But in 2021, their story took an unexpected — and aromatic — turn.
A Roasting Legacy, Passed Down with Purpose
For years, Amanda and Jeff had been sourcing coffee from a trusted roaster with over six decades of experience. When he was ready to retire, he offered them something priceless: the opportunity to carry on his craft.
They didn’t hesitate. With the same commitment and curiosity that fueled their farm, the LaShaws dove into the art and science of coffee roasting. They studied, they practiced, and most importantly — they respected the foundation that had already been built, while making it their own.
Today, every bag of coffee from LaShaw Ranch Roasters is hand-packed, carefully roasted, and made with intention. From smooth light blends to bold dark roasts, there’s a flavor for every coffee lover — and it all carries the unmistakable taste of real dedication.
