The Doggy District was born out of a playful side hustle for Stella, a picky Boston Terrier with high treat standards. Founder, Paige, began experimenting with homemade dog donuts and quickly realized she was onto something special.
But the real turning point came after adopting Rue, a sweet rescue pup who had been abandoned after having puppies. That experience changed everything.
Rue’s story brought a deeper purpose to the brand — transforming it from a passion project into a way to help other dogs just like her. Now, a portion of every sale goes back to the rescue Rue came from, making every purchase a little more meaningful.
